Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Day Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, documenting incidents and completing accurate reports.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by communicating professionally, providing directions, and reporting conditions requiring attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
