The Opportunity:
The Import Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the importation process to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to streamline logistics operations and maintain compliance with international trade regulations. Availability to work on-site in Blumenau, Santa Catarina (SC).
How You´ll Make the Impact:
Import Operation: Oversee the entire import process, from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods.
Collaborate with suppliers and freight forwarders to schedule shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and review import documentation to ensure compliance with international trade laws.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import regulations and tariffs to minimize risks and avoid delays.
Cost Management: Monitor and report on logistics costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Performance Tracking: Develop and utilize KPIs to track the efficiency and effectiveness of import operations.
Provide regular reports and insights to management on import activities and performance metrics.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal Business Units to align logistics activities with business objectives.
Foster strong relationships with external partners to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Administration, Foreign Trade, Engineer and related;
Experience in Transportation, Logistics, and Customs Operations, with knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, OSGT.
Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced Excel.
Availability to work on-site in Blumenau, Santa Catarina (SC).
Proficiency in English.
Analytical and organized profile, with the ability to work effectively in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
