Commodity ManagerPRIMARY PURPOSE: To serve as a sourcing expert in a particular class of goods or service. To be responsible for creating/maintaining supplier relationships, negotiate all pricing structures and contracts and ensure pricing and delivery meets contract guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates, launches, manages and successfully closes RFP’s for all new suppliers or services.
- Reviews and consolidates existing suppliers in an assigned commodity, ensuring unused suppliers are deactivated, redundancies are removed and look for opportunities to consolidate suppliers providing the same goods or services.
- Reviews expiring contracts and engages suppliers in a timely manner to ensure new agreements are in place.
- Ensures all contracts are captured and loaded in assigned database. Reviews active suppliers and ensures that where contracts exist, they are loaded into the database and terms are captured for reporting.
- Works on special projects centered around sourcing goals that involve large-scale change situations impacting multiple departments and colleagues.
- Leads, negotiates and contracts all new and renewal supplier agreements. Tracks all contract negotiations and saves generated contracts in assigned database.
- Serves as internal and external escalation point for all supplier questions and issues.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
- Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience
Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience with P2P platforms and Power BI preferred.

For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is 87,179.00 - 122,052.00 - 156,923.00 USD Annual.
