As a Retail Development Manager, you are responsible for developing Holiday Extras’ retail activities through physical travel agencies across France and Wallonia. You build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with travel agents and partners and identify growth opportunities to further expand the business.

• Identifies commercial opportunities and successfully converts them into growth within new and existing accounts.
  
  

• Analyses sales data and takes action based on feedback, insights, and available data.

• Demonstrates creativity in developing new initiatives, incentives, and presentations.
  
  

• Takes full ownership of the assigned region and maintains in-depth knowledge of it.

• Proactively identifies and onboard new travel agencies to join our network.

• Represents the company at retail market events and supports broader commercial initiatives.

• Supports business growth in France in a cross-functional manner, contributing market and cultural expertise where relevant.

• Independently plans annual marketing activities for the assigned region and accounts.
  
  

• Initiates and manages regional and national incentive programs.
  
  

• Creates and executes personal work schedules with minimal supervision.
  

• Supports the execution of thematic campaigns designed to educate, motivate, and support travel agents (e.g. concepts focused on creating meaningful customer experiences), forming the foundation for presentations, store visits, and the annual narrative.

• Understands partner objectives and develops plans to achieve them, aligned with Holiday Extras’ goals.
  
  

• Adapts communication style based on the situation and the audience.
  
  

• Acts with integrity and builds trust to ensure long-term, effective partnerships.
  
  

• Demonstrates a solution-oriented mindset and a flexible approach when working with internal teams.
  

• Builds strong networks and ensures partners feel valued and well supported during joint events.
  
  

Das bringst Du mit:

• Minimum of 3 yeras' experience in the travel industry in a comparable field-based ("on the road")

• Recognised as an expert within the assigned region, both internally and externally.
  
  

• Able to motivate and inspire travel agents in both small and large group settings.
  
  

• Possesses excellent presentation skills and brings energy to every session.
  
  

• Motivated to analyse data in order to identify growth opportunities and define actions.
  
  

• Capable of producing performance reports for partners with a strong focus on growth.
  
  

• Understands customer segments and knows how to tailor offers to maximise profitability.
  
  

• Communicates data clearly and concisely, both internally and to partners.
  

• French at a native speaker level is mandatory to fulfil the role. English at conversational level is required since part of the reporting line is in english and the majority of colleagues are english speakers.

• Conversational English is required, as part of the reporting line and the majority of colleagues are English-speaking
