As Senior Mine Geologist, reporting to the Geology Manager, you will lead a dedicated underground Geology crew responsible for ore extraction processes, maximising productivity safely, efficiently and within budget, whilst fostering a positive team culture of safety, collaboration and excellence.

Key responsibilities will also include:

• Optimise ore recovery and minimise dilution through smart drill programs

• Collaborate with mining teams to meet production targets

• Maintain and enhance geological models and grade control systems

• Supervise operational activities and lead a high performing geology team

• Set high standards of work to model best practice and achieve departmental goals

• Develop and track KPIs for geology functions, including mapping, logging, and drilling

About you

You’re a natural leader with a passion for geology and a people-first mindset. You thrive in fast-paced underground environments and bring a collaborative spirit to everything you do, whilst effectively managing the production demands.

You’ll also bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Geology

• Proven underground production experience (gold preferred)

• Previous experience in a similar leadership role

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Mining

• Strong safety focus and team-first attitude

• Manual C Class Driver’s License (minimum)

• First Aid Certificate (desirable)
