Role Purpose
As Analyst I - Travel Shared Services at Accelya, you will provide travel booking, expense processing and travel policy support to employees across our global airline technology business, ensuring compliant, cost-effective and efficient business travel arrangements.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Process travel bookings for Accelya employees, including flights, hotels, car hire and rail, ensuring compliance with the company's travel policy and preferred supplier arrangements
• Process employee expense claims accurately and on time, verifying compliance with Accelya's expense policy and escalating non-compliant items for review
• Use SAP Concur AI or TripActions/Navan automated compliance tools to flag policy exceptions and simplify expense submission for employees
• Respond to employee travel queries professionally and promptly, providing guidance on travel policy, approved vendors and booking procedures
• Maintain accurate travel and expense records, supporting month-end reconciliation and reporting activities
• Assist in monitoring travel supplier performance and escalating service issues to senior team members
• Contribute to continuous improvement of travel shared services processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
Required Experience & Skills
• 0–2 years of experience in corporate travel management, expense processing or a closely related shared services role
• Familiarity with travel booking systems and expense management platforms
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and queries simultaneously
• Professional, helpful approach to supporting employees with travel arrangements
• Attention to detail in expense claim processing and policy compliance checking
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; travel management qualification preferred
Preferred Experience & Skills
• Familiarity with AI-powered expense management features in SAP Concur or TripActions/Navan, including automated policy compliance checking and receipt scanning
• Experience using generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT or equivalent) for drafting traveller communications, expense policy FAQs or travel exception handling guidance
• Awareness of how AI is transforming corporate travel management, including automated booking recommendations, spend anomaly detection and AI-powered travel risk alerts
• Interest in sustainable travel and awareness of how organisations are reducing the carbon footprint of business travel
