Residential Program Cook

Overview

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/hr

Schedule: Full Time Flexible schedule within business hours 

Location: 2942 E. 700 S. Spanish Fork, Utah 84660

 

Join New Haven, a residential mental health treatment center in Spanish Fork, Utah, as a Cook preparing nutritious meals and snacks for youth receiving behavioral health care. In this onsite role, you'll plan menus, accommodate dietary needs, maintain food safety standards, and help create a positive dining experience for residents. We're looking for someone with professional kitchen, cafeteria, or restaurant experience who enjoys meaningful work in a residential treatment setting.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly menus,
• Manage inventory, 
• Order supplies, and help maintain food costs within budget
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations while maintaining a clean kitchen environment
• Work collaboratively with treatment staff and dietitians to support residents' nutritional needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required;
• professional experience in a restaurant, cafeteria, or institutional kitchen preferred
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Utah Food Handler Permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and pass background, drug, driving, and TB screenings; valid driver's license required
• Ability to obtain and maintain Crisis Intervention Training Certification.
