Job Summary

To further strengthen our capabilities, we are looking for the Althofen site for a:

Logistics Services Manager

What a typical day looks like

• Management and optimization of intralogistics from material incoming and material allocation through to shipping (Expedit)
• Leadership responsibility for the Logistics Services area
• Personnel and capacity planning (further training and development)
• Supply Chain Security
• Automation and continuous improvement of intralogistics
• Recording of results and reporting
• Management of inventory and cycle counting
• Coordinate waste management and recycling activities, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety requirements.
• Drive waste reduction and recycling initiatives while maintaining required documentation.

The experience we're looking to add to our team

• Technical and/or commercial education (HTL, HAK, university of applied sciences/university)
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, etc.
• Basic understanding of waste management, recycling and environmental compliance within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental compliance and continuous improvement within an industrial environment
• Team player with assertiveness and a strong sense of responsibility
• Green Belt certification required
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Certification to inspect warehouse racking/shelving systems.
• Experience with automated warehouses is an advantage.
• Business-fluent in German and English skills, spoken and written
