  • Lead technical governance and operational excellence for Palo Alto Networks and Check Point firewall environments.

  • Define and maintain service descriptions, catalogs, technology standards, operational procedures, runbooks, and governance frameworks.

  • Drive simplification, standardization, and automation of firewall operations, including policy governance, compliance controls, health checks, and process optimization.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and managed service partners to ensure delivery of services aligned with contractual obligations, SLAs, security requirements, and enterprise standards.

  • Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and information security teams to translate requirements into secure and scalable network security solutions.

  • Provide guidance on network security architecture, standards, policies, and best practices across the organization.

  • Analyze incident patterns, operational risks, and service performance trends, implementing improvements that enhance reliability and reduce risk.

  • Support major incidents and escalations, driving effective problem resolution and long-term corrective actions.

  • Contribute to network security transformation initiatives, including firewall modernization, Zero Trust adoption, SASE implementation, and secure cloud connectivity.

  • Deliver executive-level service reporting and maintain transparent communication on service performance, risks, priorities, and dependencies.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise network security, including engineering, operations, governance, lifecycle management, and service ownership.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewall technologies, particularly Palo Alto Networks and Check Point.

  • Strong knowledge of firewall architecture, policy design, packet flow analysis, application control, threat prevention, VPNs, NAT, routing, access control, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop service documentation, standards, operating models, runbooks, knowledge articles, and executive reporting.

  • Demonstrates effective use of AI and digital tools to enhance problem-solving, decision-making, and productivity, while applying sound judgment, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and maintaining accountability for outcomes
