Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Senior Administrator is to manage the office, assist the Vice President and department team, in all administrative work and to interpret the needs of the team and insure that these needs are met in a timely and positive manner. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Marina Bay Sands’ policies, practices, and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide administrative and clerical support to the team
• Perform administrative functions within the department, make discretionary decisions and interface with all appropriate departments on the property
• Collate and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
• Answer correspondence and compose meeting minutes and other department communications
• Organize and maintain file system; file correspondence and other records
• Answer and screen incoming telephone calls, take and deliver messages
• Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve facilities and record and transcribe minutes of meetings.
• Gather reference materials, compile and type statistical reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials.
• Arrange and coordinate travel for team members
• Input and update roaster and leave records
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Vice President
• Represent Marina Bay Sands in a positive and professional manner
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
• Diploma in any discipline preferred
Experience
• Minimum four years’ experience in an office setting
Other Prerequisites
• Ability to communicate in English both in oral and written form, interpersonal skills and professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company’s appearance standards.
• Maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc., withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction.
• Four years minimum experience in an office setting.
• Working knowledge of both MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook
• Working knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
