Position Summary
We are hiring a Materials Flow Engineer to support the design and optimization of material movement across Polaris Monterrey operations. This role focuses on improving internal logistics, line-side delivery, packaging flow, and visual management tools. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient part presentation and inventory handling aligned with production needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or materials flow
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
- Experience with data analysis and process mapping
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of internal logistics and material flow principles
- Experience with ERP systems and digital tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with production, planning, and warehouse teams
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Design and implement material flow systems to support production efficiency
- Optimize line-side delivery, packaging layout, and visual aids
- Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements
- Support inbound logistics and internal part distribution
- Collaborate with teams to align material flow with production schedules
- Maintain documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives
