Cumberland County Guidance Center is seeking a Full-Time Director of Clinical Care Systems Operations to join our leadership team in Millville, New Jersey.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Clinical Director, Behavioral Health Director, Program Director, or Operations Leader to oversee Outpatient and Community Support Services (CSS) programs while advancing clinical excellence, staff development, and operational success.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide both clinical and operational oversight, supervise program leadership, support evidence-based treatment initiatives, and ensure high-quality services for individuals living with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.

What You'll Do
As the Director of Clinical Care Systems Operations, you'll provide leadership and oversight for Outpatient and Community Support Services (CSS) programs while ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and effective program performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clinical leadership for outpatient and community-based behavioral health programs
- Supervise program directors, managers, supervisors, and clinical staff
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, contractual, and accreditation requirements
- Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and leadership support
- Review treatment planning processes and client engagement strategies
- Support implementation of evidence-based and recovery-oriented treatment practices
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to best practices in behavioral healthcare operations
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support agency goals and strategic initiatives
Required Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Master's Degree in Behavioral Health Sciences or a related field
- Current New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) License
- Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) credential or ability to obtain shortly after hire
Experience & Skills
- Minimum two (2) years of behavioral health leadership, management, or administrative experience
- Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience working with individuals experiencing psychiatric and co-occurring disorders
- Strong leadership, supervision, staff development, and program management skills
- Knowledge of behavioral health operations, clinical services, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to effectively manage multiple programs and priorities
- Valid New Jersey driver's license with acceptable driving history
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience overseeing outpatient behavioral health programs
- Experience managing Community Support Services (CSS) programs
- Experience directing substance use disorder treatment services
- Budget management and contract administration experience
- Knowledge of state and federal behavioral healthcare regulations
- Experience with quality improvement, performance management, and outcomes monitoring
- Experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams
