What this opportunity involves:
Are you a professional and organised individual with excellent customer service skills? We're seeking a Receptionist to join our dynamic property management team. Reporting to the Centre Manager, you'll be the welcoming face of our retail centre, managing front desk operations whilst providing crucial administrative support to our team at The Strand at Coolangatta. You'll manage reception operations with professionalism and warmth, handle incoming communications, coordinate visitor experiences, and provide administrative assistance that keeps our workplace running efficiently. Note: This role is part-time position only
An overview of the role:
Greet and welcome all visitors, clients, and employees with professionalism and warmth, ensuring an exceptional first impression
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing inquiries to appropriate team members efficiently
Coordinate meeting room bookings, manage conference room setups, and ensure spaces are prepared with necessary technology and refreshments
Maintain reception area presentation, ensuring the space reflects JLL's professional standards and brand image
Process incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries, and coordinate shipping arrangements
Manage visitor access procedures, issue visitor badges, and maintain security protocols
Provide administrative support including data entry, document preparation, filing, and maintaining office supplies inventory
Coordinate with building management, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless office operations
Assist with event coordination, employee gatherings, and special office initiatives that strengthen team culture
Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for:
Proven experience in reception, front desk, or customer service roles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Professional appearance and presentation aligned with corporate environment standards
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support various departments as needed
