What you will be responsible for
As a Senior Associate within the Fund Order Services team you will:
- Assist in the daily execution of Fund Manager Unit Dealing for collective investment schemes and provide approval for the daily executing of Unit Dealing ensuring that all relevant checks have been completed for accuracy and timeliness, to meet the stringent internal and external deadlines.
Prepare Cash Allocation and Rebalance (CAAR) calculations and daily Unit Dealing deal execution.
Provide secondary approval for the daily executing of Unit Dealing ensuring that all relevant checks have been made for accuracy and timeliness, to meet the stringent internal and external deadlines.
Provide approval in the daily confirmation and loading of deals into State Street systems following strict procedures to ensure accurate capture of nominal, prices and shares in a timely manner.
Ensure effective logging and resolution of enquiries and liaise with appropriate parties to resolve/escalate queries/problems within agreed timescales.
Assist in holding reconciliations insuring client funds match to fund manager holdings statements. Any differences are fully explained, documented and corrected in a timely manner.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, third parties and colleagues, communicating effectively through formalised reporting and ad hoc liaison
Ensure adherence to all departmental and company wide procedural guidelines (e.g. timekeeping, dress, work persona, and holiday cover)
Participate in client driven change requests and inhouse process enhancements relevant to service
Participate in periodic business reviews ensuring associated risks are identified and managed and appropriate remedial action is taken as necessary

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Fund accounting and/or pricing experience and/or dealing gained within Unit Linked, Pension or Retail Funds’ environment. (desirable)
Knowledge and understanding of the investment regulations
Ideally to degree standard although previous industry experience will also be considered
