Job Summary

Rabalais is seeking an Electrical Foreman to oversee electrical projects, supervises electricians, ensures compliance with codes, and manages materials, schedules, and safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and supervise the work of electricians, including training, assigning tasks, and inspecting work to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards
- Review construction documents, prepare cost estimates, requisition materials, and coordinate with contractors, municipalities, and inspectors to ensure timely project completion
- Diagnose electrical issues, maintain and repair electrical systems, draw sketches for installations, and ensure adherence to electrical codes and standards
- Maintain work orders, prepare weekly and annual reports, manage budgets, and document project progress
- Enforce safety practices, comply with federal, state, and local regulations, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a relevant degree or technical certification in electrical engineering, industrial technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in electrical work, project management, and supervising teams of electricians
- Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy objects, work in high elevations, crawlspaces, or trenches, and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency in electrical codes, blueprint reading, troubleshooting, and use of electrical tools and equipment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage personnel and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
