How it works

As an Assistant Relationship Manager at OCBC Global Real Estate, you will work closely with the senior relationship managers in managing and growing a portfolio of corporate real estate clients.

You'll be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering holistic banking solutions across lending, treasury, cash management, trade finance, and capital markets. This role provides the opportunity to work with leading property developers, real estate investment companies, REITs and private real estate funds (PEREs).

What you do

1. Conduct regular client reviews and identify opportunities to deepen relationships through the provision of tailored banking and financing solutions.

2. Conduct financial, industry, and credit analysis, prepare credit applications / annual reviews and manage entire financing process through legal documentation and implementation.

3. Monitor portfolio performance, client developments, and market conditions to proactively identify opportunities and emerging risks.

4. Stay abreast of global real estate market trends, investment activity, and industry developments, applying insights to client strategy and portfolio management.

5. Contribute to portfolio growth, revenue generation, and cross-selling objectives while maintaining strong asset quality and risk discipline.

Who you are

• University degree in a relevant field, such as accountancy, business, finance, or economics

• At least 2 years of accounting, audit or commercial/corporate banking experience.

• Basic knowledge of corporate banking products, including lending, cash management, treasury, capital markets and corporate finance solutions.

• Sound credit and financial analysis capabilities.

• Able to work independently with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commercially minded, analytical, and results-driven, with a strong focus on building long-term client relationships.

• A collaborative team player with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding client outcomes.
