We are currently looking for an SH&E Specialist to support our growing Global Business Services (GBS) organization in Kraków and contribute to Safety, Health & Environment initiatives across Central & Eastern Europe.

In this role, you will serve as the occupational health and safety subject matter expert for our Kraków office while partnering with regional SH&E teams to strengthen compliance, support operational safety programs, and foster a strong safety culture across the organization.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Serve as the Occupational Health & Safety Professional for Ecolab's Kraków Global Business Services organization in accordance with Polish legal requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with Polish occupational health and safety regulations and internal Ecolab SH&E standards.

  • Conduct workplace inspections, identify risks, and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

  • Coordinate occupational risk assessments and maintain related documentation.

  • Develop, update, and maintain required health and safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.

  • Partner with occupational physicians, external providers, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders on health and safety matters.

  • Support workplace ergonomics programs, annual safety reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Implement and maintain Ecolab's SH&E programs, policies, procedures, and performance standards.

  • Support safety audits, safety walks, near miss reporting, incident investigations, and root cause analysis activities.

  • Monitor SH&E performance metrics, maintain accurate reporting, and communicate progress against key objectives.

  • Deliver health and safety training, provide guidance to managers and employees, and coordinate mandatory regulatory training programs.

  • Drive employee engagement through safety campaigns, awareness initiatives, and activities that strengthen Ecolab's Goal Zero safety culture.

  • Contribute to regional SH&E projects, compliance activities, customer-related requirements, and selected field safety initiatives across Central & Eastern Europe.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Qualification to serve as an Occupational Health & Safety Professional under Polish legal requirements.

  • 2+ years of experience in occupational health and safety or a related field.

  • Good knowledge of Polish occupational health and safety legislation.

  • Fluent Polish and communicative English.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a matrix and multicultural environment.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Valid Category B driving licence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NEBOSH certification or equivalent international SH&E qualification.

  • Fire protection qualification or experience supporting fire safety compliance.

  • Experience working within a multinational organization.

  • Experience supporting both office-based and operational work environments.
