This autumn semester, we are excited to welcome four new student workers to join our teams in Billund. These roles span across front-end and full-stack software engineering, offering great opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact.
Student Worker, BrickLink Technology (role 1)
As our Student Worker – Frontend Development, you'll build real frontend features on BrickLink.com alongside engineers who are rebuilding the platform on a modern stack. You'll join a product team with engineering, product, and design partners, and your work will reach a live global audience. You'll experience both a long-running production system and a greenfield modern architecture while contributing to member-facing experiences across home pages, accounts, sessions, and community touchpoints within the LEGO® ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals
Experience with/exposure to React (or a comparable component framework)
Experience with/exposure to HTML and CSS - semantic markup, responsive layout
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with/exposure to Next.js or a modern SSR framework
Basic experience with backend/APIs or testing

Student Worker, Brick Technology (role 2)
As our Student Worker - Frontend Engineer, you'll work in the Digital Element Design area, helping migrate web applications to the LEGO® design system. You'll refactor and replace user interface components, apply design tokens and styles, and help ensure the applications remain responsive and accessible. Working in a TypeScript and React monorepo, you'll contribute to modernising the design ecosystem one component at a time while collaborating closely with designers and engineers.
Required Qualifications
Studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Exposure to or experience with React, TypeScript, and CSS through university, personal, or other projects
Fluent English
Preferred Qualifications
Applied basic unit testing practices and validated changes using existing test suites
Explored web accessibility and responsive design principles through projects or coursework
What you'll build
Migrate web applications to the LEGO design system
Refactor and replace existing user interface components
Apply design tokens and styling standards across applications
Help ensure a responsive and accessible user experience
Contribute to the modernisation of a shared frontend ecosystem used across the team
Student Worker, Cybersecurity Platforms (role 3)
As our Student Worker, Software Engineer, Cybersecurity, you'll work across a wide range of cybersecurity platforms, applications, and engineering challenges. You'll help implement software features, build infrastructure through code, and support large-scale security logging solutions. Some of the tools and platforms you'll work with are bought and maintained, while others are built from scratch by the team. You won't be expected to know everything from day one. Instead, you'll learn alongside experienced engineers while contributing to meaningful work from week one.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing studies in computer science or a related field
Exposure to software development through university projects, hobby projects, internships, or similar practical experience
Fluent English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with C# or Next.js
What you'll build
Implement new features across cybersecurity platforms and applications
Help build and maintain infrastructure through code
Support the operation of large security logging solutions
Contribute to both internally developed and vendor-supported security technologies
Learn new technologies and engineering approaches while supporting the team
Student Worker, Manufacturing Technology (role 4)
As our Student Worker, you'll join the Warehousing and Site Logistics product team within Manufacturing Technology. You'll help build and support software solutions used in warehouses, logistics operations, and material handling across manufacturing sites. You'll contribute as a regular member of the team while learning both technical and business-domain topics. The role offers the chance to work on systems with real operational impact, where reliable software helps keep production moving every day.
Required Qualifications
Exposure to or experience working with Typescript, React, and Go
Fluent English
Studying computer science, software engineering, or related subject
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to or experience with Python
What you'll build
Support software solutions used in warehousing, logistics, and material-handling operations
Contribute to development activities that support factories and warehouses globally
Work alongside experienced engineers on technology decisions and software delivery
Help improve systems that support continuous movement of products through the supply chain
Contribute to initiatives connected to factory expansion and new-site implementation projects
We're looking for students who
Are currently enrolled in Denmark in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Erhvervsakademi (professional academy) program in fields related to data.
Preferably graduating summer 2028 or beyond, having at least 1.5-2 years left of studies
Are curious and willing to learn, with a positive, team-player attitude.
Can be present 15–20 hours per week, ideally with 1–2 days at our LEGO office in Billund.
Are passionate about digital technology and eager to contribute to real projects.

Following the Assessment Day, there will be one final interview round. The expected start date for successful candidates is either 1st December 2026 or 1st January 2027.
