Receiving Driver Associate
Shift: Second Shift [4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.] Sunday - Thursday

What will you do?
A day in the life of a Receiving Driver at VF looks a little like this.
The Receiving Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of inbound trailers and materials within the distribution center yard. This role supports receiving operations by ensuring trailers are positioned correctly, inspected for safety and accuracy, and processed in alignment with company procedures. The Receiving Driver works closely with receiving, transportation, and operations teams to maintain workflow efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Material Handling & Inventory Movement
- Put away inbound pallets into designated storage locations using powered industrial equipment
- Pull product for replenishment and full case orders to support operational needs
- Consolidate pallets to maximize space, improve efficiency, and maintain inventory accuracy
- Stage and prepare pallets for movement between sites
Offsite Warehouse Support
- Execute daily workload at the Warehouse location in alignment with operational priorities
- Follow warehouse management system (WMS) processes and scanning requirements to track inventory movement
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging, storage, and consolidation areas
Transportation Between Sites
- Transport pallets and materials between distribution center and Warehouse using a box truck
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure safe operation of all vehicles
- Follow all company driving policies and safety standards
- Only full-time associates are eligible to operate the box truck
Safety & Compliance
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment in accordance with safety standards
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety procedures at both locations
- Report any safety concerns, damages, or discrepancies immediately
What do you need to succeed?
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or yard environment
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn yard tractor (hostler) operations
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.
- Prior yard driver or CDL experience
- Experience with WMS or RF scanning systems
- Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes

Hiring Range:
$16.00 USD - $20.01 USD per hourIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
