The role
As a Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our Integrated Therapy team to blend clinical expertise with leadership and governance. Your primary responsibility will be to shape the clinical direction, ensure quality, and foster innovation to achieve exceptional outcomes for individuals seeking mental health assessment and treatment.
What we are looking for
You must be a HCPC registered practitioner (Practitioner Psychologist, OT, SALT), an RMN or a BABCP registered CBT therapist (with child/family experience).

- An ability to ensure high-quality client care and uphold clinical standards across the organisation. Your responsibilities include offering support and guidance to foster your colleagues' professional growth.
- A track record of driving measurable improvement — identifying where practice or process falls short, testing changes, and embedding what works.
- An appetite for innovation, and comfort working in a fast-moving digital health environment where models of care are being designed rather than inherited.
- You will oversee and/or be directly involved with complex cases, assess clinical outcomes, and continually improve service quality and client experience
Interpersonal impact and leadership presence
- Presence and credibility that brings people with you: building trust quickly, motivating teams through change, and being someone clinicians actively want to be led by.
- An ability to support other people managers to coach their team members to drive performance.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the emotional intelligence to read a room and adapt your approach to the person and context in front of you.
- Capacity to drive clinical governance at a service-wide level. This will encompass conducting audits, supporting compliance, embedding our open learning culture, and continuous quality improvement approaches as well as developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Communication
- An adaptive communication style — able to move between clinical supervision, a board paper, a commissioner meeting and a team all-hands without losing clarity or warmth.
Experts by experience
- Experience of working meaningfully with experts by experience, involving young people, families and carers in the design, delivery and evaluation of services rather than consulting them after the fact.
External credibility
- Credibility externally: able to represent Healios convincingly to NHS partners, commissioners, corporate clients and professional bodies, and to hold your own in clinical and commercial conversations alike.
- A commitment to adhering to local and national policies, including NICE guidelines, and cultivating a culture of ongoing enhancement in clinical practice, reducing unwarranted variation and elevating quality.
- A capacity to contribute to educating the external market about Healios’ services.
Autonomy
- An ability to work autonomously with clear timelines and accountability, comfortable with ambiguity and able to set direction where none yet exists.
- You will demonstrate skills in consultation and collaboration with others across functions to deliver company-wide goals by developing close relationships with colleagues, particularly in Client Operations, Governance and Learning and Development. This will include demonstrating skills in influencing strategic direction for cross-functional initiatives.
- A commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the highest standards of safeguarding of adults/children.

SAFER RECRUITMENT & PRE- EMPLOYMENT CHECKS
Healios ensures that supporting people to be safe is at the heart of our work and a key priority across all areas of the organisation, We will do our absolute best to keep the people that we support, safe from harm. This starts with our recruitment processes.
As part of our pre-employment checks, all employees of Healios will be asked to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Dependent on your role within the business, this will either be an Enhanced or Basic. A Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check will be required. You will also be asked to provide two professional references as a minimum.
