About the Function
Our Irish Brand Homes welcome millions of visitors every year, creating unforgettable experiences across the Guinness Storehouse, Guinness Open Gate Brewery, Roe & Co Distillery and Smithwick’s Experience.
The Guinness Storehouse is Ireland’s leading visitor attraction, combining history, innovation and hospitality to bring the Guinness story to life. Behind every exceptional visitor experience is a passionate team of people, and our People Operations function ensures they have the support, leadership and resources they need to succeed.

You'll join the Visitor Experience Leadership Team, partnering closely with operational leaders, HR, Learning & Development and agency partners. Together, you'll build high-performing teams, strengthen leadership capability and ensure our workforce is set up to deliver world-class experiences every day.
About the Role
As People Operations Manager, you'll lead the people operations agenda across our Visitor Experience function. Combining workforce planning, leadership coaching and operational excellence, you'll ensure we have the right people, in the right place, at the right time while creating an environment where our teams can thrive.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead workforce planning, rostering and labour optimisation to support operational and seasonal demand.
- Coach and develop frontline leaders, building capability in people management, performance, wellbeing and employee relations.
- Oversee recruitment coordination, agency partnerships and workforce planning to ensure an engaged and high-performing team.
- Monitor labour budgets, workforce data and operational reporting to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Partner with HR, Learning & Development and operational stakeholders to deliver consistent people processes and strengthen leadership capability.
- Drive continuous improvement across people operations, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency and an exceptional employee experience.
This is an opportunity to influence one of Ireland's most iconic visitor attractions while shaping the future of its people operations. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, working across multiple teams to create an environment where both employees and visitors can thrive.

This could be the right opportunity for you if you have:
- Experience in People Operations, workforce planning or workforce management within a fast-paced operational environment.

- Strong analytical and commercial skills, with experience managing labour budgets, reporting and operational performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience within hospitality, tourism, visitor attractions or events would be advantageous, as would experience using Workday or workforce rostering platforms.
Please note: This is primarily a site-based role, with occasional home working possible. Regular Saturday working will be required.
