The key purpose of this role is To define, develop and maintain Process and Product Technical Specifications of non beer brands, and the management of the Quality Assurance of these brands across the supply chain from the raw materials through to the consumer according to our ABI policies and standards. The role also includes the management of the Passion for Beer Program and key projects relating to ways of working with new technologies and tools for the business from a Brewing and Quality perspective.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
The role includes the leading of the Quality Assurance requirements for all Non- Beer brands both during innovation and commercial production
During innovation of the brands, this Specialist is required to develop and own the Quality Plan for the innovation and deploy the relevant company policies and procedures within the company and/or any third party contractors
During commercial production, to maintain the standards depicted through our Quality Management System, to lead the necessary Quality Improvement activities and to deploy changes within these brands as dictated by any change process relating to these brands
Continuous partnering of 3rd party contractors producing these brands would also be a requirement to ensure that our ABI standards of Food Safety and Quality Assurance are constantly met
The role also includes leading the Passion for Beer Program and/or other similar programs designed to improve awareness and knowledge of our business and brands through deployment, management and maintenance of the objectives set for the year within these programs
These programs are led globally and the individual will be required to partner with global teams to ensure the Zone remains at the forefront of these programs
The role includes participation in projects relating to deployment of new tools and ways of working which affect the Brewing and Quality departments for both Non- Beer as well as Beer initiatives
The role would be involved in the development, deployment and governance of these tools and standards/structures in brewing/quality

Minimum Requirements:
BSc Degree or equivalent in Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
At least 3 to 5 years demonstrated experience in quality management, quality assurance and/or brewing management; a completed Brewing or Quality Traineeship would be advantageous
Knowledge of Laboratory Management, Specification Management, Legal Requirements as well Packaging and Production knowledge
Knowledge of SAP, PaQT, eQMS, PTS, MES
Good understanding of Standard Work Practices and other VPO methodologies
