The Consumer Products Enablement & Solutions department supports Humana’s businesses by ensuring consumer products are competitive and meet consumer needs. The team also enables growth across the organization and ensures timely CMS and state filing timelines. The team has a strong dotted-line partnership with the Medicare and Medicaid organization, Humana’s largest, which comprises over 80% of the company’s total revenue and the majority of its earnings. Team members partner broadly with leaders throughout the enterprise, as they provide oversight and strategic direction of all Medicare and Duals products.   

 

Humana is seeking an experienced team member to help drive strategic direction and ensure execution on the end-to-end processes and projects critical for transformation across our business. As a Consultant, you will shape implementation considerations and work with business owners to translate analysis into execution and help drive enterprise alignment across Consumer Product, Growth Strategy, Transformation Office, Marketing, Compliance, and Operations.  While doing so, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow team members, subject matter experts, members of Humana’s leadership team. 

 

This role is responsible for providing strategic support and assist in driving execution of end-to-end processes aligned to the Consumer Product Enablement & Solutions organization. This role partners with various functional leads to drive enterprise alignment, develop process redesign, while also identifying long-term opportunity for transformation. This Consultant leverages strong consulting and program management skills to influence executive stakeholders, manage critical milestones, and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities will include the following: 

  • Collaborate closely with Program Governance Leads to track high-priority product initiative progress, status, and long-term opportunities 

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to document, redesign, and optimize processes with a focus on automation and operational efficiency 

  • Support content creation to drive overall program management 

  • Develop executive level communications and PowerPoints to drive strategic decisioning 

  • Support business case, KPI, and SLA development across high-priority projects   

  • Partner closely with Compliance to understand issues and recommend changes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with outstanding academic credentials 

  • 2-4+ years of full-time work experience in consulting, corporate/business unit strategy, or program/project management 

  • 1+ years of experience with payer organizations 

  • 2+ years of large-scale project or process improvement work 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to perform complex quantitative and qualitative analysis 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities 

  • Ability to quickly build and maintain trust with business leaders 

  • Highly collaborative, flexible, team-work oriented working style 

  • Strong commitment to personal and professional growth 

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, MHA, MPH and/or PMP

  • Managed care and/or healthcare services work experience

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

 

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$86,300 - $118,700 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
