Job Description:
This role is responsible for identifying, investigating, and mitigating fraud risks related to UPS products, services, and processes. The position focuses on protecting the business from financial losses through fraud investigations, risk assessment, customer interaction, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze fraud exposure and potential risks.
- Investigate suspicious activity involving UPS products and services.
- Review and respond to customer fraud-related inquiries.
- Assess account registrations for fraudulent behavior.
- Cancel user IDs, approve adjustments, and perform credit-related actions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate investigation records and case documentation.
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to resolve fraud issues.
- Work directly with customers to address fraud concerns and provide solutions.
- Identify customer pain points and communicate improvement opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in fraud prevention and risk management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Professional degree or technologist degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields; OR
- At least 3 years of experience in fraud investigation or related areas.
Mandatory Skills
- English proficiency (approximately 75% or higher).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Access, etc.).
- Strong analytical, investigative, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage risk effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer Service experience.
- Credit & Collections experience.
- Billing experience.
- Knowledge of finance and accounting practices.
- Fraud investigation and conflict management skills.
- Customer relationship management skills.
- Time management, flexibility, and adaptability.
