The Opportunity: Make an Impact in Modern Manufacturing
Are you an aspiring engineer eager to apply your technical skills in a dynamic, hands-on manufacturing environment? This 12-week Manufacturing Internship (Summer 2027) offers invaluable experience within our state-of-the-art plants. You'll be embedded in our Product Supply team, tackling real engineering problems, optimizing processes, and collaborating with experienced professionals on projects that directly contribute to P&G's globally recognized brands. What You Will Do:
As a Manufacturing Intern, you will lead or significantly contribute to projects focused on process optimization, loss elimination, and capability building. Your work will blend technical problem-solving with project execution support, aligning with areas such as:
- Process Engineering & Optimization: Develop innovative solutions to improve product designs, streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance product quality using data analytics (e.g., OEE, root cause analysis).
- Converting & Packaging Engineering: Support development of web-processing and equipment solutions, optimize packaging lines for efficiency, and assist with new equipment integration using tools like 3D modeling and mechatronics.
- Control Systems Engineering: Support automation systems, industrial networks, and robotics integration, contributing to digital manufacturing solutions and troubleshooting control issues.
- Manufacturing Project Support: Contribute to capital projects and new initiatives (e.g., capacity expansion, automation, cost savings) from concept to execution, managing scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Capability Building: Support operational excellence by contributing to safety, quality, training, and digital solution adoption.

Job Qualifications
Required:
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in an Engineering or related technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Industrial & Systems, Manufacturing, Operations Management).
- Academic Standing: Anticipated graduation date between Winter 2027 and Spring 2029 (rising Juniors/Seniors).
- Project Mindset: An eagerness to contribute to projects, learn about managing timelines, and drive results in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Technical Curiosity & Acumen: Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex issues and contribute to technical solutions.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Agility & Drive: Ability to quickly embrace and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule and cost. Proactive, self-driven, and eager to make a tangible impact.
- Availability: Ability to complete a 12 week internship between May and August 2027. Exact start / end dates may vary depending on placement location and school schedules (e.g. we understand schools on quarter system may result in later start).
- Mobility: Ability to relocate for the Summer 2027 internship and willingness to relocate throughout your career. At P&G, we believe that diverse experiences help build strong leaders. Preferred:
- Prior experience (internships, academic projects) in manufacturing, process improvement, or automation.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau), Lean/Six Sigma, or project management concepts.
- Basic understanding of controls, automation, robotics, or industrial networks.
