What is the opportunity?
We are looking for a skilled IT Environment Manager to join the Operational Risk & Controls IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery environments for several enterprise applications. The IT Environment Manager will work to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development, testing and pre-production environments, to ensure the stability, security and consistency of the platforms. The Environment Manager will collaborate with developers, quality engineers, scrum masters and production support analysts to promote new application versions and implement system upgrades.
What will you do?
- Manage and maintain the development and test environments from an Infrastructure and Application perspective
- Analyze and troubleshoot incidents and technical issues by reviewing logs and debugging in non-production
- Deploy updates and promote software packages to non-prod environments
- Coordinate system upgrades, maintenance, and release activities across environments
- Collaborate with the delivery and production support teams to ensure consistency between non-production and production environments
- Manage data feeds and ensure batch jobs run within expected timings, fine-tuning scheduling as needed
- Produce, update, and review Run Books and Implementation Plans
- Provide expertise around InfoSec/IT Security best practices and change management policies
- Work to address security vulnerabilities and maintain proper server hygiene
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
- 5+ years IT support experience
- Strong proficiency with Windows Server, IIS, MS SQL, PowerShell
- Experience diagnosing and debugging performance and security issues
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and dev ops best practices
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with development and support team, Demonstrated independent leadership and analytical skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
Nice to have:
- Experience with Archer GRC
- ITIL and/or MCSE Certification
- .NET and/or JavaScript Experience
