They work closely with owners, architects, construction managers, general contractors and other facility departments to collaborate and product cost-efficient, environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions to their workplace.
They are seeking a reliable and hardworking Edge Banding Opertor to join their dynamic team!
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate edge banding machinery
- Read work orders, drawings and Microvellum specifications
- Load materials and adjust machine settings
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Perform basic machine maintenance
- Record production output and machine downtime
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years of machine operating experience in woodworking or furniture manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- CAD/CAM or Microvellum knowledge considered an asset
- Strong measuring and basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
