Plant Groundman (Asphalt) Moore, OK

Asphalt Plant Groundman 2401 S. Broadway Ave., Moore, OK 73160 | Full-Time

Silver Star Construction, a leading road construction company in Oklahoma, is seeking a dependable Asphalt Plant Groundman to join our team. This position supports daily plant operations through equipment maintenance, facility upkeep, and general labor duties to help ensure safe and efficient asphalt production.

Essential Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on plant equipment
• Operate equipment including skid steers, man lifts, water trucks, haul trucks, and bobcats
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate records
• Assist with housekeeping and general maintenance throughout the asphalt plant
• Support production operations as needed

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
• Recognize equipment issues and safety concerns and take appropriate action
• Dependable work ethic and commitment to safety

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Availability for overtime, night shifts, and weekend work when required
• Ability to safely perform physical labor including shoveling, sweeping, and jackhammer operation
• Commitment to following all company safety policies
