Summary:
As an SAP Analytics Cloud Developer, a typical day involves designing and developing interactive dashboards, stories, analytical applications. The role requires translating business requirements into intuitive, scalable, and high-performing analytics solutions. The resource collaborates with business stakeholders, functional teams, architects, and data teams to deliver accurate and actionable insights. Responsibilities include integrating SAP Analytics Cloud with SAP and non-SAP data sources, optimizing solution performance, and resolving technical issues. The position also requires technical leadership, quality assurance, and mentoring team members to ensure timely and effective delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy reports, stories, dashboards, and analytical applications using SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Create data models, calculations, input controls, filters, hierarchies, and visualizations based on business requirements.
- Develop advanced SAC solutions using scripting, linked analysis, bookmarks, and other interactive features.
- Integrate SAC with SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP or non-SAP data sources.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and analytical solutions.
- Optimize stories, models, queries, and data connections for performance and usability.
- Troubleshoot data, connectivity, authorization, performance, and reporting issues.
- Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing, and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, architects, and data engineering teams.
- Review development deliverables and ensure adherence to quality, security, and reporting standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers.
- Take end-to-end ownership of deliverables and ensure timely, high-quality completion.

Professional & Technical Skills
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on development experience in SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Experience developing SAC stories, dashboards, analytical applications, and data models.
- Strong knowledge of live and acquired data connections.
- Experience with calculations, restricted measures, hierarchies, input controls, filters, and linked analysis.
- Hands-on experience with SAC scripting and advanced visualization capabilities.
- Knowledge of SAC security, roles, teams, content management, and transport processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to convert business requirements into effective reporting and analytics solutions.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SAC Planning, including data actions, multi-actions, allocations, and calendar processes.
- Experience integrating SAC with SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of predictive analytics, smart insights, and augmented analytics capabilities.
- Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts.
- Relevant SAP Analytics Cloud certification.
- SAP Analytics Cloud Planning Experience including SAC scripting and advanced visualization capabilities.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud Development.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru/Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
