Description
Industry: Construction / Utilities / Excavation.
- Pick up and deliver materials, tools, parts, and supplies to jobsites.
- Transport small construction equipment between jobsites and the company yard.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment safely.
- Operate company pickup trucks and trailers.
- Assist with moving equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, generators, pumps, and other small construction equipment.
- Coordinate daily deliveries and equipment moves with project managers, superintendents, and field crews.
- Pick up materials and orders from local suppliers and vendors.
- Maintain delivery tickets, receipts, and other required paperwork.
- Perform basic inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment before use.
- Keep company vehicles, trailers, and equipment clean and organized.
- Assist with organizing the company yard, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Help field crews with loading, unloading, and miscellaneous tasks when required.
- Immediately report equipment damage, mechanical issues, accidents, or safety concerns.
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable DOT requirements.
- Perform other construction and logistics-related duties as assigned.
- Valid driver's license with a clean and insurable driving record.
- Experience pulling and backing trailers.
- Ability to safely load and secure construction equipment.
- Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, or similar equipment is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with construction tools, materials, and equipment is preferred.
- Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with supervisors and field personnel.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Must be comfortable driving throughout the workday and traveling between multiple jobsites.
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, and other typical construction conditions.
- Must be willing to work overtime and occasional weekends when project schedules require it.
