Position Title: Inpatient General Psychiatrist

Location: Jacksonville, FLRiver Point Behavioral Health is dedicated to providing specialized care for individuals of all ages experiencing emotional, developmental, substance abuse, and behavioral health challenges. Position Overview:

Employment Type: Hospital Employed

Schedule / Hours: Full-time Monday-Friday schedule onsite, day hours  

Call: 1:4 shared call

Patient Volume: 18 daily caseload expectation with the ability to earn extra with productivity bonus

Practice Setting: Inpatient adult daily caseload

Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists

EMR / Technology: Cerner

Growth opportunity: ECT opportunity as well if interested. Training can be offered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
• Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Education: M.D./D.O. with Board Certification in General Psychiatry

• Training: Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency

• Licensure: Florida medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
