Description
Amentum is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Embedded Project Lead to serve as a trusted liaison between Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) and Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC) and the Amentum Hawai’i Program Management Office (PMO), providing direct project leadership, requirements management, operational coordination, and mission.

- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that may include exercises, contingencies, surge operations, and OCONUS travel.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison to assigned SOCPAC and MARFORPAC directorates and organizations.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of Joint and Marine Corps operational, logistics, sustainment, mobility, and readiness priorities.
- Identify, analyze, and translate customer requirements into executable project objectives, tasks and activities.
- Lead assigned projects from requirements development through execution, delivery, assessment, and closeout.
- Coordinate capabilities across logistics, supply, distribution, warehousing, transportation, engineering, readiness, training, and mission support.
- Track project performance, schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and resources.
- Facilitate customer working groups, planning sessions, exercises, assessments, demonstrations, and operational events.
- Develop executive briefings, decision-support products, CONOPS, SOPs, TTPs, assessments, reports, and information papers.
- Analyze operational and logistics data to identify gaps, constraints, vulnerabilities, and opportunities.
- Support distributed and contested logistics initiatives designed to increase resilience, survivability, flexibility, and operational reach.
- Support modernization, experimentation, advanced logistics concepts, and integration of emerging technologies.
- Provide PMO leadership with visibility into customer priorities, mission requirements, risks, and future opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Project Management, Military Studies, or related field; equivalent relevant experience may be substituted.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, military operations, logistics, sustainment, operations, or Government contracting.
- Experience working directly with DoD, military, or Federal Government organizations.
- Experience working on a joint staff or in a joint environment
- Prior MARFORPAC and SOF operational experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in an embedded customer environment.
- Experience managing multiple projects, requirements, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into executable actions and deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication and briefing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Active Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to maintain the required clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
- 10 years of management/supervision experience in DoD
- CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- 10+ years of military, DoD, Government contracting, or operational experience.
- USINDOPACOM or Indo-Pacific operational experience.
- Logistics, sustainment, mobility, distribution, readiness, or operational planning experience.
- Experience supporting exercises, experimentation, modernization, or operational assessments.
- Current TS/SCI clearance.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $150K - $200K (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
