Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in St Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and adherence to Allied Universal driver policy requirements. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare and laboratory environment.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, assisting with visitor direction and access control as assigned.
- Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
