Description
The Senior Quality Engineer plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing process excellence and product quality by applying Goodyear standards, solving complex production challenges, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position serves as a technical expert, partnering across functions to enhance process capability, customer satisfaction, and operational performance. The role leads quality improvements, manages projects, and leverages analytical and problem-solving methodologies to reduce risk and improve manufacturing outcomes. Success in this position requires strong engineering expertise, collaboration skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

What You Will Do
Lead product and process improvement initiatives using quality engineering principles, analytical tools, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Analyze manufacturing performance indicators, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve quality and efficiency.
Coach and support teams in the application of continuous improvement practices, Plant Optimization methodologies, and quality standards.
Manage quality-related projects, ensuring objectives are achieved through effective planning, risk management, execution, and communication.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer requirements, resolve technical challenges, and improve manufacturing processes.
Lead and support initiatives related to new product introduction, process optimization, waste reduction, quality compliance, and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline. For Latin America, an Engineering degree is required.
3.5+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, process engineering, or a related industrial environment.
English level is a requirement
Demonstrated experience applying structured problem-solving techniques, troubleshooting equipment or process issues, and driving process improvements.
Knowledge of quality systems, project management methodologies, statistical analysis tools, and quality core tools such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, and Control Plans is preferred.
