The candidate will be asked to organize and catalogue imaging files collected during a longitudinal cohort of pregnant patients. The cohort, Placenta3D, is an NIH-sponsored cohort that recruited pregnant patients to have a research ultrasound at 3 timepoints in pregnancy. The scanning protocol for complex with numerous 3D volumes and Doppler images obtained. There are over 400 subjects and 1000 scans collected. However, there is a need to catalogue and label the various images obtained for each visit so we can prepare the data for analysis.The temporary employee will work under Dr Nadav Schwartz, MD, a Professor of OBGYN in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at PENN and is the principal investigator on the study.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Export imaging files from ultrasound machines and servers for review
- View and catalogue ultrasound images obtained on study participants
- Consolidate duplicate images and filter out erroneous or unrelated images
- Support the quality assurance process that the study team deploys on the images
Required Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of human biology and pregnancy
- Organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any experience with medical imaging, specifically ultrasound
- Experience with RedCap database
- Prior experience with clinical research
