Security Site Supervisor

Titan Security is seeking a Site Security Supervisor to lead daily security operations at an iconic, high-profile property in the heart of Chicago’s Loop.

Situated within a historic landmark featuring classic Chicago School architecture, modern amenities, and public exhibits, this unique site requires a dedicated leader who balances high-standard safety procedures with exceptional customer service for tenants, international executives, and visitors alike.

As the Site Security Supervisor, you will directly manage a team of 5 security officers/supervisors, ensuring top-tier protection, operational excellence, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: Supervise a team of 5 security officers/supervisors. Oversee scheduling, payroll, coaching, recognition, and performance management. Conduct site-specific on-the-job training, client-specific training, and annual refreshers adhering to Titan standards.

• Operational Oversight: Reconcile daily logs, shift responsibilities, and patrol reports. Review incident reports prior to submission to Management and coordinate preliminary investigations.

• Post Orders & Procedures: Develop and maintain up-to-date operational procedures and post orders. Understand and qualify for assigned posts, including emergency response protocols mandated by the client.

• Access Control & Monitoring: Maintain building access control procedures using access control systems, visitor management systems, and CCTV. Properly identify and sign in all tenants, visitors, and vendors.

• Site Safety & Security: Respond to incidents and property emergencies. Observe departing personnel to guard against theft. Monitor security cameras throughout the facility.

• Patrols & Inspections: Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols across all property areas regardless of weather, including multi-flight stairwells when needed.

• Customer Service & Communication: Provide first-class customer service to all tenants, visitors, and staff. Assist with directions and general inquiries. Clearly document and report property damage, unusual occurrences, or equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years of prior satisfactory experience as a security officer or directly related supervisory experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Licenses/Certifications: Valid State Security License (PERC) and valid Driver’s License (as applicable).

• Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (Bilingual in Spanish or other languages is a plus). Proficiency with access control, visitor management, and CCTV systems.

• Background Check: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Must maintain an active contact phone number.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

• Ability to perform extensive interior and exterior foot patrols in any weather conditions.

• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $59,000 – $60,000 per year
