Next.js Developer / Frontend Developer

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Next.js Developer to develop modern, scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Next.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern frontend development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js and React.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and high-quality frontend components.
• Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and client-side rendering where appropriate.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and functional web pages.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, SEO, and usability.
• Implement authentication, authorization, routing, and application state management.
• Troubleshoot application issues and perform code optimization.
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow frontend development standards.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and business teams.
• Support application deployment and CI/CD processes.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js.
• Strong experience with React.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience developing responsive web applications.
• Experience integrating REST APIs.
• Good understanding of:
  • SSR
  • SSG
  • Client-Side Rendering
  • Routing
  • Component-based architecture
• Experience with state management solutions such as:
  • Redux
  • Redux Toolkit
  • Context API
  • Zustand or similar
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Bootstrap, or similar UI frameworks.
• GraphQL.
• Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Node.js knowledge.
• Authentication using OAuth/OIDC/JWT.
• Docker.
• CI/CD pipelines.
• Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
• Headless CMS integration.
• Accessibility standards such as WCAG.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
