High Focus Centers provides evidence-based treatment for adolescents navigating challenges related to mental health, substance use, eating disorders, and co-occurring conditions.

We are currently seeking a Certified Teacher to join our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Exton, PA. This role combines education and behavioral healthcare, providing students with academic support while they participate in treatment.

What You'll Do

As a Certified Teacher, you will provide academic instruction to adolescents participating in our PHP program. You will work closely with clinical and educational team members to create a supportive, structured learning environment that helps students maintain academic progress during treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic instruction aligned with each student's home school curriculum.
• Adapt lessons and implement IEP/504 accommodations to meet individual learning needs.
• Maintain communication with school liaisons, parents, and treatment team members.
• Support student engagement, confidence, and academic progress.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to collaborative care planning.
• Prepare progress updates and transition reports as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and applicable educational requirements.
• Create a structured and supportive classroom environment within a behavioral health setting.

What You Bring

• Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification required.
• Special Education Certification strongly preferred.
• Experience working with adolescents preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health, therapeutic, or alternative education settings is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a therapeutic environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both educational and clinical teams.
