In this position...

• You will help lead our next generation Features & HMI developments on our journey to Own Off-Road and win on the Track

What you'll do...

• Execute a Systems Engineering approach to new feature design to meet customer needs
• Lead the development of new features at the systems engineering level from early feature development to production and manage feature upgrade and migration plan
• Develop feature specifications, feature Failure Mode Avoidance documentation, feature verification plan, etc.
• Review existing system designs to find new opportunities for cost or quality improvement
• Interact with program teams, core engineers and functional areas to create balanced solutions to competing requirements
• Develop relationships with cross functional teams and supply base to learn about the latest technologies and possible implementation
• Analyze complex cross-functional systems and implement innovative solutions
• Lead trade-off discussions with cross-functional teams
• Communicate complex systems, issues and resolutions in a clear and concise manner
• Utilize connected data & data analytics to develop a deep understanding of the customer

You'll have...

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree
• 2-5 years of experience with vehicle electrical systems and/or features
• Strong learning agility
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Strong systems thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, with the ability to quickly understand and articulate complex issues
• Emotional resilience to negotiate cross functional trade-offs
• High Bandwidth individuals with interest in performance vehicles
• Multi-faceted skill sets with a focus on systems engineering, features development experience, rapid prototyping, software and/or electronics integration, calibration (brake controls or powertrain), mechatronics
• Interest in performance vehicles and related hobbies

Even better, you may have...

• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of related experience in an automotive engineering role
• In-depth knowledge of Quality Documents (DFMEA, LFMA, and boundary diagrams)
• Functional knowledge electrical module design, networking, wiring, power distribution, chassis systems, lighting systems, etc.
• Electrical Systems Engineering experience including understanding of systems engineering V model
• Electrical D&R experience
• Electrical testing experience
• Experience with both Track-capable and Off-Road Features & HMI systems
• Tier 2+ Drivers training

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
