Description
The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers professional development, leadership training, and meaningful work experience at non-profits tackling some of our nation's most pressing policy challenges all over the United States. Early-career professionals including undergraduate/graduate/law students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Eligible candidates will be geographically located in and authorized to work in the United States through the duration of the program. Successful candidates will interview with both our non-profit partner organizations and Stand Together Fellowships staff, so we strongly encourage you to begin the admissions process early!
Atlas Network is seeking an intern to help with content creation and developing stories about our partner network for our Marketing and Communication Team. This intern would report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager. Atlas Network is a nonprofit that supports free market organizations (think tanks) and individuals across the globe with the potential to champion our vision of a free, prosperous, and peaceful society. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and driven individual interested in gaining experience in social media and copywriting while supporting an international nonprofit.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting emails, social media content, and weekly partner highlight blog posts
- Curating content for podcasts and video productions
- Collecting, analyzing, and reporting engagement analytics from Atlas Network website and social media platforms
- Facilitating communication between the Marketing and Communications department and other teams
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with social media and content management
- Experience with Hubspot, MailChimp, Wistia, Riverside, Craft or WordPress
- Experience or courses in journalism, English, marketing and communications, economics or other formal writing
- Interest in Atlas Network’s mission and international issues
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, Atlas Network interns are able to participate in a variety of professional development programs.
Internship Details:
- This application requires a portfolio of social media work and a writing sample from a professional or academic setting (500 words or less)
- Preference to applicants who can regularly be in the Arlington Virginia office
- Position is eligible for a flexible work from home schedule
