Job Description:

Here at Modern Pest, our team members are our most important resource in our fight against dangerous and disease-carrying pests. We’re seeking a Recruiter to join our HR team!

Position Overview:

The Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new team members across our branches throughout New England. Attainment of staffing and retention goals will be a primary focus for this team member as they build relationships with our branch teams in ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, and RI. From creating job postings to welcoming new hires to Orientation, the Recruiter will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the lifecycle of an open position.

As the Recruiter grows within their role, they will also have the opportunity to learn other important HR functions, such as benefit enrollment and policy/procedure rollout. As an ambassador of Modern’s culture and values, the Recruiter will help maintain positive employee relations and team member satisfaction through education of HR policies and by fostering a positive team environment.

Job Type: Full-time, year-round, essential worker status

Pay type: Hourly

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Work Location: This is a hybrid role with remote flexibility following training.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including 7-year background and Motor Vehicle Report screening, as well as a 4-panel drug screen (opioids, cocaine, PCP, and amphetamines not prescribed by a doctor)
• High capacity for managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously, influencing and gaining credibility with all levels of employees, management, and internal clients.
• Thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations as they pertain to HR functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess computer literacy with capability to use Microsoft Office, Workday, and related Human Resources software programs.
• Meticulous attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills.
