Job Summary

The Audio-Visual Production Specialist supports live production in boardroom environments. This individual assists with audiovisual elements during meetings, including PTZ camera operation, live switching, and basic audio support, helping ensure each meeting runs smoothly and professionally. The primary focus of this role is executing day-to-day AV production tasks under the guidance of senior team members. Additional post-production support may be required on an as-needed basis.

Additional Job Duties

  • Supports live audiovisual production for boardroom meetings, executive sessions, and other events as assigned
  • Assists in maintaining and organizing the A/V production environment and equipment
  • Stays current with basic AV tools and best practices relevant to daily responsibilities
  • Assists with video production tasks and workflows under the direction of senior staff
  • Supports corporate communications with other creative productions such as podcasts and videos, as assigned
  • Operates remote PTZ cameras, video switchers, audio consoles, and signal processing equipment under supervision to deliver quality output
  • Monitors audio and video quality throughout live sessions and flags issues to senior staff
  • Assists in troubleshooting technical issues during meetings, escalating as needed
  • Supports live graphics, lower thirds, and presentation content during productions
  • Prepares, tests, and verifies equipment, cabling, and signal flow prior to live events
  • Participates in pre-show walkthroughs and technical rehearsals to confirm system readiness
  • Assists with configuration and upkeep of AV equipment including displays, projectors, microphones, and conferencing systems
  • Coordinates with IT and facilities teams as directed to support network and infrastructure needs
  • Communicates with stakeholders and meeting facilitators to gather basic technical requirements
  • Communicates clearly with on-site and remote team members during live productions
  • Assists with post-production tasks including video editing, file management, and content archiving as needed
  • Performs routine maintenance, inspections, and inventory management of AV equipment
  • Documents technical configurations, equipment settings, and event rundowns as directed
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and professional technical workspace

Experience

  • Requires minimum 2 years job related work experience
  • Requires some experience or exposure to live event or broadcast production environments
  • Requires basic familiarity with PTZ camera systems, live switching, and audio workflows
  • Requires ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Prefer exposure to Blackmagic ATEM switchers
  • Required to work on-site 3-4 times/week

Education

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Audio/Visual Technology, Broadcasting, Film/Media Production, or related field preferred
  • Or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge
