Description
About the role
- Lead the Commercial Development team to consistently achieve new business revenue targets.
- Use strong industry and regulatory knowledge, including EPR requirements, to help clients navigate changing compliance needs.
- Oversee client accounts to ensure contracts, billing, and service delivery are managed effectively and clients remain satisfied.
- Track sales activity and progress toward targets, supporting monthly forecasting, Quarterly Business Reviews, annual budgeting, and long-term business planning.
- Lead weekly activity and pipeline reviews with Commercial Development Managers, Customer Care, and Compliance teams.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships, introduce additional services, and develop tailored solutions that drive growth.
- Build relationships and collaborate with industry associations and professionals across the EPR consulting and environmental services sectors.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Monitor market and competitive activity and provide insights to leadership to support business strategy.
- Partner with Marketing to align events and marketing initiatives with business development goals.
- Collaborate with Customer Care and Environmental Compliance teams to ensure high-quality client service, improve processes, and identify opportunities for expanded services.
What we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Sales and Business Development leadership.
- 10+ years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or a related industry.
- Proven experience managing the full sales cycle and consistently achieving revenue targets.
- Experience in environmental services, circularity, or selling circular economy solutions.
- Experience managing EPR services or leading teams that sell EPR solutions is an asset.
