Program Analyst

Overview

Bowhead seeks a Program Analyst to join our team supporting our MITSM customer in Stafford, VA.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition teams in preparing, reviewing, updating, maintaining, routing, and approving acquisition documentation • Assist with market research by identifying vendor sources and drafting market research reports • Track and manage action items using Government tools, monitor due dates, and ensure timely completion • Schedule and reserve conference rooms in accordance with local procedures • Coordinate meetings, including notifications, agendas, logistics, and follow-ups • Gather inputs for data calls, draft responses, and support Government leadership reviews • Collect, organize, file, and retrieve records such as reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and memos • Document and analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into process maps and technical requirements • Provide recommendations to improve products, services, and processes • Develop briefings and communication materials for customers, management, and executive stakeholders • Gather information from subject matter experts to create procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation • Research, write, and edit content to align with project requirements • Utilize Microsoft and Atlassian tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence to support deliverables and process improvements • Apply Agile methodology to support PI planning and project execution • Provide strong customer service to internal and external stakeholders • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required • Minimum of 5 years of related experience • At least 2 years of acquisition support experience preferred • At least 2 years of experience developing or reviewing Project Management plans and activities preferred • Demonstrated experience managing SharePoint site content, including creation and maintenance of SharePoint pages, document libraries, lists, permissions, and user-facing content• Demonstrated analytical skills, effective communication, and self-motivation in task execution• Strong documentation, analytical, and critical thinking skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including briefing and training abilities • Exceptional attention to detail • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment • Experience managing client requirements and small teams • Strong business presentation and analytical capabilities

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

 

Physical Demands:• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

 

Targeted salary range is $85,000 to $95,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.
