As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused campus by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting a controlled workplace environment.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel regarding incidents, observations, and follow-up needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
