Description

The Manager, Medicare Digital Growth and Lead Management — Digital Sales Growth & Enterprise Lead Management - will help establish, grow, and optimize Healthfirst’s Medicare Digital sales channel while advancing enterprise lead management strategy across Medicare distribution channels.

The Manager will be responsible for helping define the role of Digital within the broader Medicare sales ecosystem, building the performance discipline needed to scale the channel, and partnering across the organization to improve the digital consumer journey from initial engagement through enrollment and retention.

In addition, this role will help drive enterprise lead management strategy across Telesales, Field, Broker, and Digital channels. The Manager will serve as a Medicare Sales business owner for lead management standards, business needs, performance opportunities, adoption, and outcome measurement.

Success in this role requires comfort operating in ambiguity, creating structure where processes are still evolving, and influencing cross-functional partners without direct authority. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, ownership-minded sales strategist with experience in digital growth, lead management, sales operations, customer journey optimization, and regulated sales environments.

  • Shapes how Digital connects with Telesales, Field, Broker, community-based, and retention channels to support an integrated Medicare distribution strategy.
  • Champions test-and-learn approaches that improve digital engagement, consumer experience, re-engagement, and digital contribution to Medicare sales growth.

Enterprise Lead Management Strategy & Execution (30%)

  • Helps advance enterprise Medicare lead management strategy across Telesales, Field, Broker, and Digital channels.
  • Defines Medicare Sales business needs and lead management standards.
  • Partners with channel leaders to improve lead flow, channel handoffs, speed-to-lead, source performance, follow-up effectiveness, and lead-to-sale conversion.
  • Identifies systemic opportunities to reduce lead leakage, improve data quality, strengthen routing logic, and create greater accountability across channels.
  • Ensures lead management strategies balance enterprise consistency with channel-specific needs, capacity, consumer preferences, compliance requirements, and sales priorities.

Business Ownership, Performance & Cross-Functional Partnership (20%)

  • Translates digital sales and enterprise lead management performance into clear insights, recommendations, and prioritized actions for Medicare Sales leadership.
  • Builds the operating discipline needed for a new function, including performance routines, issue identification, decision support, stakeholder alignment, and outcome tracking.
  • Represents Medicare Sales business needs in digital and lead management initiatives, ensuring solutions support growth, consumer experience, operational feasibility, compliance, and measurable sales outcomes.
  • Partners with project managers and delivery teams by providing business direction, requirements, prioritization, subject matter expertise, adoption needs, and post-implementation performance feedback.
  • Navigates ambiguity by clarifying problems, framing options, recommending decisions, and moving work forward in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Builds strong cross-functional relationships across Sales, Marketing, Digital Experience, Technology, Analytics, Compliance, Operations, and Product to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensures digital sales and lead management practices align with CMS regulations, Healthfirst policies, sales integrity expectations, and member experience standards.
  • Additional duties as necessary and as directed

  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and cross-functional partnership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment without direct authority.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity, create structure, and drive progress in a new or evolving function.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Medicare Advantage, health insurance, managed care, or another regulated sales environment.
  • Experience helping build, scale, or optimize a digital sales, ecommerce, online enrollment, or direct-to-consumer growth channel.
