Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Systems in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, report security-related concerns, and support a reliable site experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and vendor authorizations in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-related records while communicating professionally with building management and site personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
