Description
Affiliate Research Specialist
We're looking for an Affiliate Research Specialist to be our radar across the SERPs. As rankings shift daily and grey-niche competition moves faster than any team can track by hand, you'll continuously scan search engines across our markets, uncover new and rising affiliate websites, evaluate them, and hand qualified sources to our Affiliate Managers. This is a pure research and evaluation role, no outreach, built for someone automation-minded and AI-friendly who scripts away repetitive work instead of doing it by hand.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Monitor SERPs across search engines for casino and sportsbook keywords across our target markets and languages
Discover new and rising affiliate websites: fresh domains entering the rankings, parasite pages on authority sites, comparison and bonus sites, expired domain rebuilds, and multi-site networks
Build and maintain automated discovery pipelines using SERP APIs, rank trackers, scheduled crawls, and change detection alerts, so coverage keeps growing without growing manual work
Evaluate and score every source: traffic estimates, keyword footprint and ranking velocity, geo relevance, authority metrics, which brands they already promote, ownership and network footprint, and contactability
Maintain a clean, deduplicated source database with scoring, status, and history, checked against our existing partners and blacklists
Hand over qualified sources to Affiliate Managers as short evaluation briefs with clear priority levels, and flag high-value or time-sensitive finds immediately (outreach itself stays with the Affiliate Managers)
Use AI tools (LLMs, agents, AI-assisted scraping and classification) to enrich, cluster, and qualify sources at scale
Own reporting: weekly new-source reports, SERP movement digests per market, and coverage dashboards for the affiliate team
Track the landscape: algorithm updates, parasite SEO waves, new affiliate networks, and the shift of traffic into AI search
Monitor SERPs for brand protection: identify clone or copycat sites impersonating our brands and flag them for action
Main Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in SEO, affiliate research, or a similar analytical role
Strong understanding of how SERPs actually work: ranking signals, volatility, parasite SEO, expired domains, and how affiliate sites win positions in competitive niches
Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, SimilarWeb, or equivalent (we work with Ahrefs daily)
Proven automation skills: APIs, scraping tools, n8n, Make, or Zapier, and basic scripting (Python, JavaScript, or Google Apps Script)
AI power user: comfortable building LLM workflows and agents for research, enrichment, classification, and reporting
Strong reporting habits: advanced Google Sheets or Excel, dashboards (Looker Studio or similar), and clean, structured data
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
Knowledge of an additional language from our target markets would be considered an advantage
Experience in iGaming or other grey niches would be considered a strong advantage
Self-driven and detail-oriented: you find things nobody asked you to find, and you document them so others can act on them
