Medior Program Agilist - part-time

We’re looking for a new colleague to join our Strategic Execution team as a part-time Agilist, approx. 20 hours per week. 

We’re seeking someone who can understand the context, choose a sensible way of working, and help teams move forward without creating unnecessary process. 

Your role is to help teams work in a way that lets them deliver value faster and more predictably, while growing their ability to own how they plan, reflect and improve. Depending on the situation, you may coach a team working iteratively, help structure and manage a more predictable project, or combine both approaches, while supporting teams that are at different stages of becoming self-organising and manager-less.  

You’ll work with Y Soft Way of Working (Y Soft WoW), which draws on Agile principles, Scrum and LeSS, while adapting the way of working to the needs of the team and the work itself. 

At Y Soft, we use Agile principles to help us build the right products and services, learn quickly, and focus on what matters most to customers. Agile is not the goal by itself, and not every piece of work needs to be managed in the same way. 

What you´ll do:

• Help teams apply Y Soft WoW and Agile principles where they’re useful in day-to-day work
• Independently facilitate planning, retrospectives, reviews and other team ceremonies, making sure they are effective
• Help teams gradually take more ownership of how they plan, reflect and improve
• Support Product Owners and teams in making goals, priorities and expected outcomes clearer
• Help teams turn recurring problems into concrete changes or experiments, and follow up on whether they helped
• Facilitate discussions when unclear ownership, dependencies, conflicting expectations or team friction are slowing work down
• Support teams in clarifying what they’re trying to achieve, what matters most, and what could get in the way
• Use simple data and metrics to help teams understand what is happening and make better decisions
• Support teams in structuring plans and tracking progress for more predictable pieces of work, with guidance where needed
• Help identify, together with the team and stakeholders, whether an Agile, predictive/project management or mixed approach fits the work best
• Contribute to improving how we work within the Strategic Execution team 

About you:

• You understand Agile principles and common approaches such as Scrum or Kanban
• You have a basic understanding of predictive project management and when it can complement Agile ways of working
• You’re curious about the problem before reaching for a familiar framework, and you’re comfortable asking why a particular approach is being used
• You can facilitate a discussion without needing to own the answer
• You can help turn a vague problem into something concrete that a team can work with
• You are comfortable challenging assumptions and asking questions when something does not add up
• You can work independently with teams and handle common team-level issues and conflicts
• You are comfortable working with basic data and metrics, and know how to apply them in the way the team works
• You care about how a team’s day-to-day work connects to customer and business needs, and you help keep that connection visible
• You are open to feedback and willing to keep learning
• Your English is at a B2/C1 level, Czech is a big plus
• You are available for approx. 20 hours per week
