Overview
The Senior Facility Manager will work collaboratively within the Integrated Facility Management team to deliver comprehensive facility management services including client relations, planning, operations, financial management, and site support in a Manufacturing/Industrial environment. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration and modern technology adoption

Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Strategic Operations
- Facilitate the resolution of service delivery issues by working with client sourcing, finance, contractors, and suppliers
- Develop and implement service delivery strategies aligned with client objectives
- Create and execute business continuity plans and contingency strategies
- Identify and document best practice procedures to drive continuous improvement
- Leverage AI and digital tools to optimize facility operations and workflows
Relationship Management & Professional Communication
- Manage relationships with site colleagues, clients, JLL leadership (corporate and site), and service delivery partners
- Demonstrate flexibility and effectiveness working with diverse, cross-functional teams
- Communicate clearly and professionally at all organizational levels
- Translate customer needs into actionable initiatives
- Build trusted partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide regular, transparent updates to clients on facility performance and initiatives
People Management & Team Leadership
- Directly manage and develop the Facilities Management Team
- Hire, coach, mentor, and conduct performance evaluations
- Foster a collaborative, safety-focused team culture
- Develop team capabilities through training and professional development opportunities
- Manage CBA-represented grievance and discipline processes
- Motivate teams to achieve business goals and maintain high performance standards
Financial Management
- Monitor expenditure, analyze variances and trends, and implement resulting action plans
- Forecast year-end results in collaboration with JLL Centers of Excellence (COEs)
- Develop financial performance metrics and cost-saving initiatives
- Demonstrate sound commercial judgment and bottom-line focus
- Ensure cost-effective delivery of business services
- Manage budgets with proven financial acumen
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare and publish performance reports at agreed intervals
- Lead the development of KPIs to deliver services at the right cost and quality
- Support efficient and effective practices across global networks
- Meet timelines and targets set by Regional Director of Operations
- Support non-standard client requests and special projects
- Complete reports and perform administrative duties as required
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support JLL Centers of Excellence and Central Team Functional Leads
- Ensure alignment with other JLL operational business units
- Coordinate with local contractors and vendors for repair and maintenance of IFM-contracted assets
- Manage and coordinate custodial functions for assigned site(s)
- Partner effectively across finance, operations, procurement, and safety teams
- Participate in organizational initiatives and knowledge-sharing across sites
Environmental Health & Safety Leadership
- Ensure OSHA, state, and local regulatory compliance
- Oversee HAZMAT (Hazardous Material) compliance
- Manage commodity resources effectively
- Drive environmental compliance initiatives
- Maintain ISO compliance standards
- Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience in a management role
- 7-10 years minimum of Facility/Project Management experience
- Proven track record managing and working with multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise within IFM/Soft Services
- Experience successfully managing change initiatives
- Proven people management experience leading diverse teams

- Detailed understanding of facilities maintenance marketplace, particularly hard and soft services delivery
